Christine K. Martin, 53, of Festus passed away Jan. 28, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Martin was a member of First Christian Church of Hematite and worked in medical billing for Premiere Eye Associates in Festus. Born Dec. 20, 1964, in Festus, she was the daughter of Beverly (Snyder) Davenport of Festus and the late Bonnie C. Davenport.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband: Charles Martin; a daughter: Heather K. Martin of Festus; a son: Trey Martin of Festus; a grandson: Chase Martin; a sister: Jennifer (Jason) Gillam of Festus; her mother-in-law: Bonnie (the late Charles) Martin of Festus; two sisters-in-law: Tammy (Randy) Holman and Sherri Basler, both of Festus; a brother-in-law: Joe (Jamie) Martin of Festus; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 1, at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Terry Crank. Burial is in the Presbyterian/Methodist Cemetery in Festus. Memorials may be made to the Bonnie Davenport Memorial Fund to assist the baseball and volleyball programs at Festus High School. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
