Charlotte Ann Janssen, 77, of Eureka died June 17, 2019, in St. Louis. Mrs. Janssen enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a people person and also enjoyed her job as a waitress at Red Lobster, choosing a career that allowed her to serve others. Born Jan. 9, 1942, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Anna (Johnson) Huffman.

She is survived by three children: Dawn Renee of West Virginia, Jack Christensen Jr. of De Soto and Shannon (Edward) Christensen-Rife of House Springs; 13 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; three siblings: Robert Huffman of St. Louis, Priscilla “Pat” (Carl) Weiss of Morse Mill and Cecil (Patty) Huffman of Florida; one dog: Joe; and many other relatives and friends.

She also was preceded in death by one son: Rocky Christensen; two grandchildren: Krischain Lee Nixon and Rocky Steven Nixon; one great-grandson: Chase Zink; three siblings: Michael Huffman, Donald Huffman and Rosalie Blair; and her dog: Gizmo.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until the funeral services at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 23, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4207 Lindell Blvd., St. Louis, 63108. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
