Charles W. Radke, 78, of Arnold died April 8, 2020, at his home. Mr. Radke was retired after working as a truck driver at ABF Freight. He was member of Teamsters Local 600 for 35 years. He loved spending time with his family, and he enjoyed traveling and camping. Born June 10, 1941, in Salem, he was the son of the late Earl and Jewel (Nelson) Radke.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years: Fern (Lunn) Radke of Arnold; a daughter: Tammy (Paul) Pfaff of Imperial; a son: Terry (Pamela) Radke of Ballwin; four grandchildren: Stephanie (Dennis), Sarah (friend Jason), Grant (fiancee Jessica) and Mitchell; two great-grandchildren: Kayla and Kara; two sisters: Mary Ella (Clarence “Bud”) Walston and Martha Walston; two brothers-in-law: Lloyd (Arlene) Lunn and Kenny Lunn; two sisters-in-law: Donna (Gerald) Cooley and Ailene (Jack Mundy); and many other family members and friends.
He also was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Raymond and Virginia Lunn; and two sisters-in-law: Deloris Lane and Coyetta Lunn.
Graveside services will be held Friday (April 10) at Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart.
A celebration of life will be held later. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or SSM Hospice. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis South County Chapel.
