Charles E. Wall, 82, of Clearwater, Fla., formerly of De Soto, died April 8, 2020. Mr. Wall retired from the Chrysler Corp. in 1991 and was a member of U.A.W. Local 136. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving aboard the USS Helena. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed golf, fishing and hunting. Born Nov. 8, 1937, in Cadet, he was the son of the late Lillian (Coleman) and Charles S. Wall.
He is survived by a daughter: Kimberly Labanca of Clearwater, Fla.; a sister: Pat (Paul) Dover of Hickory, N.C.; a brother: Denny (Cindy) Wall of Festus; and two grandchildren: Gabriel and Sophia Labanca.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Mike Wall.
A memorial will be held at a later date in De Soto.
