Charles “Boot” Otis Lee Jr., 48, of Festus died Aug. 11, 2020, at his home. Mr. Lee was a short-order cook who enjoyed fishing, kayaking, mushroom hunting, playing videos with his son and spending time with family and friends. Born Oct. 16, 1971, in Festus, he was the son of the late Charles Otis Lee Sr. and Gail (Litton) Lee-Hays.
He is survived by four sons: Charles “Chuck” Lee III of Festus and Hayden, Conner and Tucker Lee, all of Eugene; his girlfriend: Kim May of Festus; a sister: Angie Robbins of Arizona; a brother: Marty (Ginna) Hays of Arizona; a grandchild: Winnie Lee; a stepmother: Wanda Lee of St. Louis; and three nephews: Christopher and Thomas Robbins and Justin Jones.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Luke Lee; and a stepfather: Benny Hays.
A celebration of life will be held later. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home.
