Charles Allen Glass, 81, of Valles Mines died Oct. 15, 2020, in St. Louis. Mr. Glass was a retired machinist and attended New Beginnings Baptist Church. He was born March 1, 1939, in Tilton, Ark., the son of the late John and Georgie (White) Glass. He was preceded in death by his wife: Myrtle Lee (Hill) Glass.
He is survived by: a daughter: Shelley Lynn (Thomas) Griffin of Bonne Terre; two sons: Charles Anthony “Tony” (Kimberly) Glass of Hillsboro and Johnny Allen “John” (Cindy) Glass of Lisle, Ill.; two sisters: Leah (William “Will”) Baker of Tilden, Ill., and Carmen (Gary) Duplantis of Searcy, Ark.; four grandchildren: Katie Ann (Mike) Anderson, Anthony Joseph Glass, Kayla Marie (Keith) Patrick and Brianna Leah Glass; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son: Mark D. Glass; a brother: Dallas Glass; and a sister: Linda Raymer.
Visitation is at 4 p.m. and a funeral service is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, at Robert D. Brown Funeral Home, 103 Fourth St., in Hillsboro. Burial will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at the Fisher Cemetery in Fisher, Ark. Memorials may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation or to the Variety Club. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert D. Brown Funeral Home.
