Ceola Mae (Barnhart) Bock, 93, of Fenton died Feb. 4, 2019, in Bonne Terre. Mrs. Bock was a devoted wife and mother and a faithful member of Fenton Church of the Nazarene, which she and her husband, Willard, helped start in 1967, along with the Rev. Paul Ambro. She enjoyed gospel music and spending time with her family. Born June 29, 1925, in Meta, she was the daughter of the late Loman and Nellie (Lee) Barnhart. She was preceded in death by her husband: Willard Bock.

She is survived by two children: Elsie Jane Bock of Bonne Terre and Sue (Jim) Spriggs of High Ridge; two grandchildren: Jim (Cam) Spriggs of Webster Groves and Christine (“Russ”) Russell of Eureka; seven great-grandchildren: Brandon, Emily, Carly, Rylie, Jeremy, Adrienne and Ashley; one great-great-grandson: Colson; two brothers: Lewis Barnhart of Meta and Roscoe Barnhart of St. Charles; and many other relatives and friends.

She also was preceded in death by one grandson: Steve Spriggs; and eight siblings: Wilfred Barnhart, Wilson Barnhart, Luther Barnhart, Billy Paul Barnhart, Mary Wiles, Wilburn Barnhart, Willard Barnhart and Wade Barnhart.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
