Catherine M. Hensley, 91, formerly of Lonedell, died Nov. 16, 2016, at St. Joe Manor in Bonne Terre. Mrs. Hensley was an elementary school teacher. She was a member of the Eastern Star Chapter 96 in St. Clair. She was born March 3, 1925, in Richwoods, the daughter of the late Aloysius and Ilene (Kelso) Rulo. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Raymond Hensley.
She is survived by a son: Dale Alvin Hensley; and a sister-in-law: Virgie Schofield of Florissant.
She was preceded in death by two sisters-in-law: Piney Britton and Delma Davis; and one grandson: D.J. Hensley.
A funeral service was held Nov. 18 at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto, officiated by the Rev. Darlene Payne . Burial was in the Horine Cemetery in Richwoods. Arrangements were under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
