Caroline J. (Viviano) Gehrt, 94, De Soto

Caroline J. (Viviano) Gehrt, 94, of De Soto died June 8, 2022, in De Soto. She was a teacher for the Developmental Learning Center. Born March 31, 1928, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Hazel Reckert and Peter Viviano.

She is survived by a son: Louis A. Gehrt of De Soto; a daughter: Tonnette Wilkinson of Bonne Terre; her cats; and many other family members and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother: Peter (Sonny) Vivano; and two sisters: Josephine (Joey) Lamotte and Katie Kope.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 14 at Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home in De Soto.
