Carol Jean Krall, 83, of Crystal City died June 27, 2021, at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis County. Mrs. Krall was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Crystal City and VFW Post 3777 Ladies Auxiliary. Born July 17, 1937, in Crystal City, she was the daughter of the late Anna (Bauman) Faulkner and Irvin Mosses Aubuchon. She was preceded in death by her husband: Lee Krall.
She is survived by two daughters: Connie Schleusner of Crystal City and Karen (Mark) Hudson of St. Louis; a son: Mark (Lesley) Dallas of Madison, Ala.; a brother: Robert J. Aubuchon of Crystal City; a stepbrother: Donnie (Sylvia) Allen of Crystal City; eight grandchildren: Kelsey (Chelse) Schleusner, Kyle Schleusner, Matt (Katie) Hudson, Meagan (Steven) Bender, Lydia Dallas, Mary Dallas, Landry Dallas and Marcella Dallas; five great-grandchildren: Maddie Bender, Skylar Bender, Bradley Bender, Avalyn Hampton and Charli Hampton; and numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, July 8, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W Main, in Festus. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 9, at Sacred Heart Church in Crystal City, officiated by Father Mathew Cheruparambil. Memorials may be made to the American Heart and Stroke Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
