Calvin Edward “Bob” Yow, 73, of Pevely died May 18, 2017, at his home. Mr. Yow was a plant supervisor for Industrial Engineering in Brentwood, served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of American Legion Post 253. Born Feb. 15, 1944, in Piggott, Ark., he was the son of the late Dovie (Holifield) and Henry Yow.
He is survived by his wife: Teresa (Burgess) Yow; two daughters: Carolyn (Rick) Allender of Fenton and Amanda Kayser of Belleville, Ill.; three sons: Louis (Kassondra) Yow of Ellis Grove, Ill., Tyler Yow of Pevely and Jason Kayser of Springfield, Ill.; a sister: Jo Ann Glass of Piggot, Ark.; a brother: Ray (Betty) Yow of House Springs; and 12 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother: John Yow; and a brother-in-law: Walter Glass.
Graveside services will be held at noon, Saturday, May 27, at Cummings Chapel Cemetery in Pollard, Ark. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
