C. Steven Wilcoxen, 69, of Festus died Dec. 31, 2022, at his home. Mr. Wilcoxen enjoyed gardening, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He was the son of the late Gwendolyn Mai McCullough and Carl Gene Wilcoxen.
He is survived by his wife: Sandra Wilcoxen of Festus; seven children: Stefani (Mike) Stark of St. Peters, Matthew (Megan) Wilcoxen of Imperial, Alisha (Terry) Frank of Festus, Kaitlen Wilcoxen of St. Louis, Brea (Luke) Hamdorf of Aitkin, Minn., Taylor (Dillon) Headington of Festus and Daniel (Vanessa) Wilcoxen of Clarksville, Tenn.; three siblings: Pamela (Tom) Yates of St. Louis, Brad (Rhonda) Wilcoxen of Benicia, Calif., and Carla (Kevin) Tobin of St. Louis; and 11 grandchildren: Isabelle Stark, David Stark, Nora Stark, Madelyn Wilcoxen, Monroe Wilcoxen, Jameson Wilcoxen, Jackson Frank, Alexander Frank, Hudson Frank, Evelyn Hamdorf and Jonathan Hamdorf. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter: Sophia Stark.
A remembrance gathering was held Jan. 8. Memorials may be made to Shriner’s Hospital for Children. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
