Bud Craft, 74, of High Ridge died Nov. 12, 2015, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mr. Craft was the owner of Craft Collision in Hillsboro. He enjoyed fishing, camping and barbecuing. He was born Aug. 11, 1941, in Rector, Ark., the son of the late Oscar and Vera (Clements) Craft.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years: Margaret (Houke) Craft of High Ridge; a son: Mathew (Tammy Tindall) Craft of Hillsboro; four grandchildren: Ryan Mathew Craft, Logan James Craft, Darian Tindall and Angelique Tindall; a sister: Louise Cable of Granite City, Ill.; two sisters-in-law: Sharon Warren of Daleville, Ala., and Nancy Houke of St Charles; two nieces: Renee (Geoff) Pherigo and Kim Houke; a nephew: Richard (Amy) Houke; many friends; and his special dogs, Sassy and BJ.
He was preceded in death by three siblings: Clayton Craft, Mavis Craft and Fern Hendrix; and a brother-in-law: Charles Cable.
A funeral service was held Nov. 16 at Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill. Burial was in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4207 Lindell Blvd., St Louis, 63108. Arrangements were under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
