Brother James Anthony Johnston, 76, Dittmer
Brother James Anthony Johnston, 76, of Dittmer died July 19, 2018, at SSM Health St. Clare Hospital in Fenton. Brother Johnston was a Southern Baptist minister at Morse Mill Baptist Church. Born Feb. 16, 1942, in Pittsburgh, he was the late Harold and Thelma (Bowersox) Johnston.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years: Becky (Hackney) Johnston of Dittmer; three children: Tambra (Steven) Wiley of Dittmer, Angela (Paul) Neuschwander of High Ridge and Christina Johnston of Dittmer; four grandchildren: Sean Wiley of Herculaneum, Sondra Wiley of Dittmer and Gretchen and Maxwell Neuschwander of High Ridge; and a great-granddaughter: Vivian Mae Wiley of Herculaneum.
Visitation will be at 2 p.m. Friday, July 27, at Morse Mill Baptist Church, 6955 Hwy. B, Dittmer. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 28, at the church, officiated by Gregg Fina. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Morse Mill Baptist Church or Heartland Hospice, 12101 Woodcrest Executive Drive, Suite 102, St. Louis, 63141. Arrangements are under the direction of McLaughlin Funeral Home.
