Brian Thomas McKenna, 61, St. Louis

Brian Thomas McKenna, 61, of St. Louis died March 22, 2025, in St. Louis. Mr. McKenna was a sports talk host and an advocate for various charitable organizations, mainly those that help first responders and special needs communities. He was Catholic. Born Sept. 22, 1963, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Virginia (Grady) and J. Glennon McKenna.

He is survived by eight siblings: Peggy (the late Jim) McEvoy, Bill (Debbie) McKenna, Cookie (Dennis) Fitzgerald, Don (Kim) McKenna, Bill (Cyndi) McKenna, Denny (Teri) McKenna, Mary Ellen (Todd) Vollet and Kevin (Patty) McKenna, his fraternal twin; 58 nieces and nephews; 56 great-nieces and great-nephews; the Mess Family; and his best friend: Babs Goldson.

He was preceded in death by a brother: Timothy “Tim” McKenna.

A celebration of life will be held later. Memorials may be made to Our Lady St. Vincent de Paul Society, 1550 St. Mary’s Lane, Festus, 63028, and marked for “Easter hams for families in need.” Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home in south St. Louis County.
