Brian Patrick Andrews, 65, of High Ridge died March 22, 2022, in Alton, Ill. Mr. Andrews was an IBEW Local 1 journeyman electrician for 43 years. He enjoyed hunting for Indian artifacts, going for walks in the woods, exploring, telling jokes, partying, dogs, listening to rock music, singing and spending time with family and friends. Born Sept. 21, 1956, he was the son of the late John Patrick “Jack” and Ora Antoinette “Toni” (Eason) Andrews.
He is survived by two sisters: Sharon (Patrick) Baker and Alixandria Kimberley Andrews; two nephews: Benjamin Balch and Patrick Andrews; two nieces: Samantha Balch and Aurora (Jonathan) Andrews-Hoffman; two great-nephews: Owen Balch and Ronin Hoffman; a great-niece: Raegan Zalsman; an uncle: Robert (Bekki) Eason; his stepfather: Daniel Wombacher; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by a niece: Sarah Ann Balch.
A celebration of life will take place from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 16, at IBEW Local 1 Union Hall, 5850 Elizabeth Ave., in St. Louis. Memorials may be made to Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation or National Alliance on Mental Health. Arrangements are under the direction of Newcomer Funeral Home in St. Peters.
