Branden James Coyle, 24, of Festus died Oct. 24, 2018, in O’Fallon. Mr. Coyle was a restaurant server and a member of the Baptist faith. He is described as a vivacious young man, full of adventure, who had a heart of gold and loved his family and his many friends. Born April 2, 1994, in St. Louis, he was the son of Deneen (Staggs) McKinney of Crystal City.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by three siblings: Christy Young, Alicia (Brian) Ratliff and Megan (Nick Jones) Coyle, all of Crystal City; an aunt: Deena (John) Banta of Maryland Heights; four cousins: Gary Keiser of Fairview Heights, Ill. , John Schaefer of Kirkwood, Sage (Tyler Carter) Jansen of O’Fallon and Angus Janssen of Maryland Heights; a great-aunt: Lois Abernathy of St. Louis; and second cousins Cindy Abernathy of Gerald, Mike Abernathy of St. Charles and Doug Abernathy of St. Louis.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Travis Coyle; his great-grandfather: James Staggs; and his great-grandmother: Terryl Staggs.
A memorial service was held Nov. 6 at Ketha Heights Baptist Church in Festus. Burial was in the Mount Carmel Cemetery in Belleville, Ill.
