Bonnie Jean “Betty” Stark, 90, of House Springs died Sept. 25, 2020. Mrs. Stark enjoyed yardwork and dancing with her husband. Born Sept. 11, 1930, in Gerald, she was the daughter of the late Rose (Bridges) and Herman Altemeyer.
She is preceded in death by her husband: LeRoy Stark.
She is survived by five children: Richard (Karen) Stark of House Springs, LeRoy (Barb) Stark Jr. of Robertsville, Pam (Ray) Toth of Fenton, Peggy Ochs of Florida and Patti Hayes of Florida; a sister: Ella May “Skip” of Florida; 21 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and numerous family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by three children: Donna Perkins, Christa Scanlon and Cynthia Miller; a grandson: Joshua Scanlon; a great-great-grandson: Caleb Scanlon; three brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 28, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142 Memphis TN 38148. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
