Bobby Ray Vineyard, 86, of Festus died Oct. 8, 2015, at Hillcrest Nursing Center in De Soto.
Mr. Vineyard was a U. S. Army Korean War veteran, a member of the Church of Christ in St. Louis and a custodian at Parkway South High School.
Born April 15, 1929, in Festus, he was the son of the late Edith (Wagner) and Lilburn Vineyard.
He is survived by a brother: Dale (Mary Lou) Vineyard of Festus.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers: Clifford (the late Norma) Vineyard and Wyman (the late Betty) Vineyard; and three sisters: Thelma (the late Eugene) McCreary, Ethel (the late Claude) Miller and Wanda (the late Amos) Geiler.
Visitation will be held from 3-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 12, at Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Patrick Adam of the Twin City Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens in Crystal City. Memorials may be made to Mercy Hospice.
Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
