Betty D. Hollinsworth, 90, of St. Louis died July 13, 2019, at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Richmond Heights. Mrs. Hollinsworth was retired from the polishing and packing department of the J.B. Gury Manufacturing Co. Born Sept. 15, 1928, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Florence (Morgan) and Charles McEvoy.
She is survived by five sons: C. Michael Hollinsworth of Big Rock, Tenn., John Hollinsworth of De Soto, Dennis Hollinsworth of St. Louis, David Hollinsworth of St. Louis and Billy Joe Hollinsworth of Bonita Springs, Fla.; four grandchildren: Wendy Reyes, Dawn Bannister, Ricky Hollinsworth II and Jackie Hollinsworth; and a great-granddaughter: Bella Reyes.
She was preceded in death by a son: Ricky Hollinsworth; a sister: Dorothy Whittington; and a brother: Charles McEvoy.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Monday, July 15, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 16, at the funeral home, officiated by Dennis Murphy. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
