Bernard Ray Hudson, 74, of Imperial died July 21, 2015, at St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis County. Mr. Hudson was the owner/operator of Mr. B’s Storage in Imperial. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. Born Sept. 20, 1940, in Perryville, he was the son of the late Beatrice and Frances Joshua Hudson.
He is survived by his wife: Vivian A. (Brame) Hudson; three daughters: Tabetha M. (Fred) Schmidt of Herculaneum, Shena Brame of Imperial and Beth Hudson of Hillsboro; two sons: Ricky W. Brame of St. Charles and Joshua N. (Shelly) Hudson of Barnhart; a brother: Leonard (Donna) Hudson of Perryville; three sisters: Dorothy (Gene) Taylor of Perryville, Thelma (Hal) Jones of Imperial and Ethel Renaurd of St. Louis; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son: Lance Ray Hudson; three brothers; and three sisters.
Funeral services were July 24 at Vinyard Hillcrest Funeral Home in Pevely, officiated by the Rev. Randy Gray. Burial with full military honors was in the Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements were under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
