Becky Brouk, 65, Hillsboro

Becky Brouk, 65, of Hillsboro died July 29, 2021, in Hillsboro. Mrs. Brouk loved spending time with her family, as well as with animals and in nature and water. She also enjoyed decorating and dressing up. Born Oct. 9, 1955, in Red Bud, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Larry and Edith (Eggemeyer) Reid.

She is survived by her husband: Steven Brouk; two children: Jason (Emily) Brouk and Steven (Britney) Brouk; four grandchildren: Dusty, Zachary, AnnaBelle and Luke; three siblings: Donna (James) Harbison, Larry (Chrissy) Eggemeyer and Joe Eggemeyer; and many other friends and family.

She also was preceded in death by two siblings: Rusty Eggemeyer and Connie Eggemeyer.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral services at 1 p.m. Monday (Aug. 2) at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill, followed by burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill. Memorials may be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
