Bart Shayne McKinney, 61, of Hillsboro died March 13, 2020, in St. Louis County. Mr. McKinney graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1976. He was a longtime homebuilder and a member of Victory Church and the Hillsboro Community Civic Club. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Born April 27, 1958, in Festus, he was the son of Sandra J. (Mattison) McKinney of Hillsboro and the late Charles McKinney.
He is survived by his wife: Robyn J. (Jones) McKinney; three daughters: Kelly (Jeremy) Lubkeman of Fort Myers, Fla., Jordyn (Ben) John of Hillsboro and Loryn (Carol) Eastabrook of Hillsboro; a son: Luke McKinney of Hillsboro; four grandchildren: Kendall, Peyton, Lily and Sophia; a sister: Barb (Kevin) Coe of Moline, Ill.; and numerous family members and friends.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday, March 16, at Victory Church, 1 Victory Drive, in Pevely. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 17, at the church. Burial will be in Hillsboro Cemetery, followed by lunch at Victory Church. Memorials may be made to Victory Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert D. Brown Funeral Home.
