Barbara Yvonne Harman, 68, of St. Clair died March 2, 2021, at her home. Ms. Harman worked in the publishing field and later in education until her retirement from the Franklin County Special Education Cooperative. Born Dec. 27, 1951, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Shirley and Irvin Ferguson. She was preceded in death by her husband: Marvin Harman.
She is survived by her five children: Tre Harman, Amanda (fiancé Kevin Gotsch) Suttmeuller, Brock (Tracey) Roberts, Tarik (Melisa) Harman and Zack (Samantha) Harman, all of St. Clair; nine grandchildren: Alexandria Young of Washington, Meggan and Logan Harman, Braydon, Lanen and Kamdin Roberts, Rachel and Chase Suttmeuller and Kamryn Harman, all of St. Clair; two great-grandchildren: Cali and Cason Young of Washington; a sister: Nancy (Ferguson) Reynolds of Victoria, Texas; and several other family members including Jim and Angela Reynolds and family of Houston, Texas, and Dan and Melissa Reynolds and family of Cedar Park, Texas.
A memorial service was held at Midlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens in Union. Mrs. Harman will be buried this summer alongside her husband in the Mount Zion Cemetery in Festus. Arrangements were under the direction of Midlawn Funeral Home.
