Barbara Sue Reeves, 69, of Festus died Oct. 1, 2019, at her home. Mrs. Reeves was a retired microwave oven assembler for Sharp Manufacturing in Memphis, Tenn. Born July 5, 1950, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Sylvia Evely (Haney) and Daniel Davis.
She is survived by her husband: Richard L. Reeves; three children: Tony D. Pinkley of Farmington, Deborah S. Pinkley of St. Louis and Sonny R. (Amanda) Reeves of Imperial; three grandchildren: Brandon, Avery and Chloe Reeves; a sister: Emma L. Bragg of Herculaneum; and three brothers: James “Clifford” Davis of Alton, Ill., Daniel M. Davis of St. Louis and Paul W. Davis of Byhalia, Miss.
She was preceded in death by six sisters: Evelyn M. Stonum, Jo Ann Long, Melba Berg, Doris J. Whitaker, Deloris J. Whitaker and Billie M. Whitaker; and a brother: Charles Davis.
Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. today, Oct. 4, at Vinyard Hillcrest Funeral Home, 9115 Commercial Blvd., in Pevely. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Bryan Roberts. Burial will be in Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens in Crystal City. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Hillcrest Funeral Home.
