Barbara “B’ma” Clifton Mantione, 79, of Tuscaloosa, Ala., died Feb. 9, 2019, at Druid City Hospital in Tuscaloosa. Mrs. Mantione enjoyed playing cards, bingo, reading, music and spending time with her friends and family. She was born in Crystal City, the daughter of the late Chalmer and Ruth Clifton. She was preceded in death by her husband: Angelo Michael Mantione.
She is survived by four children: Andrea (Billy) Falls of Tuscaloosa, Jessica (Drew) Pitzer of San Diego, Michael Mantione of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Cindy Mantione of Montgomery, Ala.; and six grandchildren: Will, Michael and Sam Falls of Tuscaloosa and Zoe, Myla and Sydney Pitzer of San Diego.
She also was preceded in death by one sister: Geri Brugman.
A celebration of her life will be from 2-3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, at Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel, 5434 Old Birmingham Highway, in Tuscaloosa, Ala. Arrangements are under the direction of Tuscaloosa Memorial Park and Chapel.
