Barbara A. Kronk, 78, of Olympian Village died July 21, 2017, at Delmar Gardens South Nursing Center. Mrs. Kronk was a clerk at Grant’s Department Store and worked for Century 21 Realty in De Soto. Born June 7, 1939, in Rochester, N.Y., she was the daughter of Lorraine (Benwitz) and Charles Hilley. She was preceded in death by her husband: Ollie Earl Kronk Jr.
She is survived by two sons: Kevin (Linda) Kronk of Millstadt, Ill. and Jon (Brandy) Kronk of De Soto; four sisters: Judy Herron, Karen Underwood, Kathy Senkint and Bernie Millgan; a brother: Chuck Hilley; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters: Jerrie Quimby and Pam Kronk.
Visitation will be held 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto, followed immediately by funeral services officiated by Deacon Ed Boyer. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
