August John ‘Ol’ Bull’ Eimer III, 72, Cedar Hill
August John “Ol’ Bull” Eimer III, 72, of Cedar Hill died April 24, 2021, in Cedar Hill. Mr. Eimer was a U.S. Navy veteran. He retired from Ameren Missouri in 2012 after 30 years as an electrical supervisor. He enjoyed spending time on his boat in Florida, where he spent winters. He will be remembered for often answering those who asked if he needed anything with the quip, “A 7-inch stack of $100s.” Born April 24, 1949, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late August and Rosemary “Cookie” (Schuler) Eimer Jr.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years: Cathy (Hussey) Eimer, whom he married in April 1972 in Warwick, R.I.; as well as
by three children: August John (Tonya) Eimer IV, Shelly Ann (David) Nadler and April Dawn (Ronnie Jr.) Day; eight grandchildren: Irieal, Sara, August V, Ronnie III, Grace, Allison, Riley and Abbie; nine siblings: Maryclare (Bob) Stephens, Donna Villani, Bill (Peggy) Eimer, Jim (Sherrie) Eimer, Diane (George) Hotard, Karen (Tom) Toti, Vickie (Henry) Pattrin, Connie (Ken) Voss and Joe (Liz) Eimer; a sister-in-law: Shirley Bush; a brother-in-law: Jack Hussey; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law: Ron Villani; and a sister-in-law: Shirley Hussey.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday (May 2) at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. A funeral Mass will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday (May 3) at Our Lady Queen of Peace, 4696 Notre Dame Lane, in House Springs. The family encourages attendees to wear their favorite St. Louis Cardinals or red apparel. A private burial will follow in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks.
