Arlene Arndt, 85, of Bonne Terre died Feb. 20, 2022, at Parkland Hospital in Farmington. Mrs. Arndt was a homemaker. Born Sept. 13, 1936, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Rose Mary (Sikorsky) Hindrichs. She was preceded in death by her husband: Allen B. “Budz” Arndt.
She is survived by four children: Donna (Windall Ward) Compton of French Village, Allen (the late Marie) Arndt of Steelville, Robert (Monica) Arndt of Covington, Tenn., and David (Laura) Arndt of Valles Mines; three siblings: Mary Frances Berg of Chester, Ill., Geraldine Berry of Chester, Ill., and Lorraine Logaglio of Port Richey, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter: Judy Hidgon; two sisters: Delores Bridger and Charlotte Wilkerson; and two grandchildren:.Loretta Arndt and Chasity Pittman.
Visitation is scheduled from noon until a memorial service at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 28, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto, officiated by Sid Laxton. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
