Anthony V. Slavik, 92, of Arnold died June 16, 2020, in Arnold. Mr. Slavik was a signalman for the Terminal Railroad Association. He served in the U.S. Army in Korea. Born May 17, 1928, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Cecelia (Koenig) and Joseph Slavik.

He was preceded in death by his wife: Jeannette (Miller) Slavik.

He is survived by a son: Steve (Sandy Vance) Slavik of Imperial; a daughter: Toni (Ken)

Ungerman of Imperial; a special friend: Marlene Wind of St. Louis; a granddaughter: Michelle (Mike) Baese of Eureka; and two great-grandchildren: Christian and Olivia Baese.

He also was preceded in death by a granddaughter: Jennifer Ungerman.

A private graveside service will be at the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis South County Chapel in south St. Louis County.
