Dinolfo, Anthony

Anthony Joseph Dinolfo, 85, of Crystal City, died April 7, 2018, at Scenic View Nursing Center in Herculaneum. Mr. Dinolfo was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a produce manager at a number of grocery stores in the area until his retirement in 1995. He was a proud member of Retail Clerks Union Local 655 and American Legion Post 253. Born Feb. 8, 1933, in Memphis, Tenn., he was the son of the late John and Beatrice (Favazza) Dinolfo.

He is survived by his wife of almost 65 years: Kathleen Ann (Kay) Floyd, whom he married on July 3, 1953; three children: Steve (Kay) Dinolfo of Jefferson City, Diane (Chuck) Vollmer of Crystal City and Christian (Tara) Dinolfo of Festus; 10 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, with another on the way; and two step-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Mike; two sisters: Mary and Catherine; and two grandchildren: Anthony and Katie Beth.

Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 12, at the funeral home, officiated by Deacon Jerry Stoverink. Burial is in Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens in Crystal City. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
