Cash, Anna

Anna Cash, 83, of Farmington, died May 19, 2015, at Crystal Oaks Nursing Center in Crystal City. Mrs. Cash was a lifelong resident of the Lead Belt. A woman of great faith, she enjoyed attending church, where she volunteered for many activities and was a member of the women’s circle. She was an accomplished gardener and member of her local garden club. She was an accomplished decorator and enjoyed sewing and cooking. Born Aug. 9, 1931, in Desloge, she was the daughter of the late Lee Jewel and Mary Landolt. She was preceded in death by her husband: Virgil Lee Cash.

She is survived by a daughter: Kathy (Jim) Nausley of Festus; a son: Rick (Sherrie) Cash of Farmington; a sister: Shirley (Wayne) Moorman of Middleburg, Fla.; three grandchildren: Kelli (Brad) Sparr of Farmington, Kara (Anthony) Wallace of Farmington and Adam (Christa) Nausley of Des Peres; four great-grandchildren: Trent Sparr, Alayna Sparr, McKennah Wallace and Braxton Wallace, with another on the way; and many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

She was also preceded in death by a brother: Charles Landolt.

Visitation is at 11 a.m. and a funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 21, at Cozean Memorial Chapel, 217 West Columbia Street, in Farmington, officiated by Dr. David Webster. Burial is in St. Francois Memorial Park in Bonne Terre. Memorials may be made to the Crystal Oaks Foundation, Safe Harbor Hospice or the Alzheimer’s Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Cozean Memorial Chapel.
