Ann L. Finch, 86, of De Soto died Nov. 17, 2019, at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis County. Mrs. Finch was a homemaker and a member of First Assembly of God Church in De Soto. She enjoyed quilting. Born Aug. 8, 1933, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Effie Marie (Cargyl) and Joseph Reinholz Sr. She was preceded in death by her husband: Carl Finch Sr.
She is survived by seven children: Carl (Sally) Finch Jr. of St. Louis, Brenda Ray of De Soto, Linda (George) Whatley of Festus, David (Carol) Finch of De Soto, Neal (Kathy) Finch of De Soto, Joe (Darla) Finch of De Soto and Carrie Brooks of De Soto; a brother: Joseph (Sadoko) Reinholz II of Sullivan; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters: Emma Jean Barnes and Carol Ullom; and a grandson: Jimmy Lee Finch.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, at First Assembly of God Church, 12635 Missouri Hwy. 21, in De Soto, officiated by Brother Ron Duncan and Brother Derek Jones. Burial is in the Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto. Memorials may be made to the First Assembly of God Church in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
