Andrew Scott Beseda, 26, of Festus died Jan. 12, 2017, in St. Louis County. Mr. Beseda was a shift manager at a Hardee’s restaurant in Mehlville. Born Sept. 27, 1990, in Dixon, Ill., he was the son of Susan (Portell) and Troy Beseda.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister: Hannah Beseda of Festus; his grandparents: Connie and Richard A. “Dick” Portell of Festus and Donna and Elmer “Sonny” Jarvis of Herculaneum; his great-grandmother: Dorothy (the late Benjamin) Beseda of Mehlville; two aunts: Terri Portell of Farmington and Karen Portell of Festus; three uncles: Kerry (Anna) Portell of Festus, Tony (Carolyn) Beseda of Oakville and Sonny Jarvis of Festus; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by an uncle: Scott Portell.
Visitation is 5 p.m. and a memorial service is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main, in Festus, officiated by Deacon Jerry Stoverink. Burial service will held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Crystal City. Memorials may be made to Bridgeway Behavioral Health, 1570 S.
