Amanda Nicole Kimmel, 24, of Pevely died July 27, 2019, in St. Louis. Ms. Kimmel worked in customer care at Reuther Ford. She loved animals and enjoyed crafts, working out, sports cars, the St. Louis Cardinals and the St. Louis Blues. Born Nov. 1, 1994, in Crystal City, she was the daughter of Christian and Maragret Faye (Leach) Kimmel of Arcadia.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by four siblings: Sean Kimmel, Jenifer Kimmel, AdreAnna (Tyler) Crum and Virginia (Eric) Sheppard; her grandparents: Janet Cook of Arcadia and Sharon and Stanley Pinson of Cadet; five nieces: Paisley, Roselynn, Annora, Haden and Addie; a nephew: Parker; three uncles: Terry (Stacey) Leach, Jr. (Debbie) Kimmel and Terry Kimmel; an aunt: Tonja (Dave) Whittier; and her pets: Lilly Ann and Sir Bentley.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents: James Leach Jr., Roger Wayne Cook and Sandra Huff.
Ms. Kimmel chose to donate her body to medical research. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Canines in Crisis in De Soto or to Riding for a Reason, 24 Snowbird Lane, Granite City, IL 62040.
