Bollinger, Amanda

Amanda Faith Bollinger, 22, of Mt. Vernon, formerly of Jefferson County, died Sept. 25, 2015, from injuries she sustained in an auto accident in Flagstaff, Ariz. Ms. Bollinger was an artist in photography, music and poetry. She was born Feb. 7, 1993, in Crystal City, the daughter of Kenneth Bollinger of Tennessee, Loretta (Tom) Rowland of Illinois and her stepmother, Sherry Bollinger of Mt. Vernon.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by a son: Gabriel Rhodes of Mt. Vernon;  four sisters: Brandalyn (Christopher) Alberty, Jessica Bollinger of De Soto, Carrianne and Kennah of Mt. Vernon; three half-siblings: Devon Hudson, Quinton Rowland and True Rowland; two step-siblings: Matthew and Ashley Van Dyken, both of Mt. Vernon; and one niece, Autumn of Oklahoma

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her great-grandparents.

Two memorial services are scheduled: the first for Saturday, Oct. 17, in Mt. Vernon and another at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at the Community Center on Boyd Street in De Soto.
