Aloysious “Al” Krizek III, 68, of De Soto died Sept. 12, 2022, at StoneBridge Senior Living in De Soto. Mr. Krizek worked as a painter/packer for an automobile part manufacturer and as a deck hand on a river boat before retiring as a truck driver. He was a member of Machinist’s District 9 and a member of First Free Will Baptist Church in De Soto. He was the son of the late Agnes (Carpenter) and Aloysious Krizek II.
He is survived by his wife: Connie (Stephens) Krizek of De Soto; and five siblings: Barbara (Robert) Krull, Eleanor (the late John) Mirgaux, Elizabeth (the late Norman) Sutton, Sylvia (Edward) Molohon and Steve Krizek.
Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. until a funeral service at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto, officiated by Brother Bob Thebeau. Burial is in the Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to Joymakers of the First Free Will Baptist Church of De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
