Alan Louis Bunting, 59, of Festus died June 5, 2016, at Fountainbleau Nursing Home in Festus. Mr. Bunting was a plumber and enjoyed fishing and reading western novels. Born Feb. 3, 1957, in Poplar Bluff, he was the son of the late Blufford and Mary Ann (Mayes) Bunting.
He is survived by two children: Blue (Lori) Bunting of Imperial and Beth (Charles) Clubbs of Blooomington, Minn.; two sisters: Terry (David) Husky of Hillsboro and Tammy (Johnny Martin) Reed of Festus; and four grandchildren: Gavin Bunting, Isaac Bunting, Asher Bunting and Charlie Clubbs.
Funeral services and burial were private. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. Arrangements were under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus.
