Adam Willard, 43, of Cedar Hill died Feb. 17, 2019. Mr. Willard was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend. He worked as a painter in the construction industry, and he loved hunting, especially with his family members on the family farm. He had a green thumb and was an avid outdoorsman. He also was a beekeeper, and he loved nature. He was a man of his word, and he always took care of others and put others first. He had a beautiful smile and great sense of humor, and he gave the best hugs. Born Feb. 4, 1976, in St. Louis, he was the son of Garry and Christa (Tanner) Willard.
He is survived by his wife: Tara (Vierling) Willard; four children: Dalton Willard, Chase Willard, Alayna Willard and Ava Willard; two siblings: April Whittle and Gary Dewayne Willard; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Ralph Willard, Lorene Willard, James Tanner and Ingaborg Tanner.
Visitation will be from 3:30-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at First Baptist Church of Cedar Hill, 8265 Local Hillsboro Road. Burial will be at First Baptist Church of Cedar Hill. Memorials may be made to the family for funeral expenses. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
