Aaron “Butch” Kite, 79, of De Soto died Oct. 21, 2014, at Hillcrest Care Center in De Soto. Mr. Kite was a farmer. Born Nov. 24, 1934, in De Soto, he was the son of the late Chester H. and Sadie (Sansoucie) Kite.         

He is survived by his wife: Revona “Jeanette” (Warden) Kite of De Soto; a son: David (Shirley) Kite of De Soto; a sister-in-law: Mary Kite; two grandchildren: Linda (Mike) Barnes and Cheryl (Joe) Boyer; and four great-grandchildren: Johnathan Barnes, Matthew Barnes, Gavin Boyer and Garrett Boyer.

He was preceded in death by a daughter: Janice Kite; six siblings: Ethel Aly, Lloyd Kite, Alice Kite, Bernice Kite, Clinton Kite and Earl Kite; a sister-in-law: Lucy Kite; and a granddaughter: Emma Rose Boyer.

Private graveside service was held Oct. 24 at the Moontown Cemetery in De Soto. Arrangements were under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
