St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in De Soto will hold a picnic from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday (Sept. 1) at the De Soto KC, 13225 Hwy. E.
Fried chicken and roast beef dinners will be served from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Adult dinners cost $10 and those for children ages 5-12 cost $5; younger children eat for free.
Mike Merseal and Family will perform from noon to 4 p.m.
The picnic will include a cornhole tournament, raffles for cash and quilts, hayrides, games for adults and children, an obstacle course, a bounce house, a country store, beer garden, craft booths and food.
A shuttle bus will be provided from the SMCI lot.
Proceeds benefit the church’s maintenance fund.
