There is still space available for vendors to take part in the Festus Senior Expo, set for 8 a.m. to noon Wednesday, June 15, at the Quality Inn in Festus.
Grand Times, Leader Publications’ magazine for seniors, sponsors the event, which is geared toward people 50 and older.
It is one of five such expos the Leader holds each year around the county and Eureka. Each of the expos draws hundreds of attendees.
At the Festus Senior Expo, vendors will have the chance to visit with the attendees and share information about the products and services they offer. Many of the vendors will offer giveaways and hold attendance drawings.
The expo also will include free coffee and doughnuts, bingo, music and speakers.
In addition, a grand prize will be awarded through a random drawing, and the winner of the “Show Off Your Grandkids” photo contest will be recognized.
The Leader will publish information about the expo and as many photos as space allows from the “Show Off Your Grandkids” contest in the June 9 Grand Times, which will be included in that week’s Leader newspapers.
