Eli Readnour, a senior at Hillsboro High School, is the Leader Musician of the Month for March.
Readnour, who lives in Festus, is a member of both the swing and a capella choirs at Hillsboro High.
Choir director Tim Arnold said Readnour was selected as a member of the All-State Choir and also was the only bass singer featured during the state choir’s performance Jan. 28.
“This was also his second time being selected for this elite ensemble, which is a huge accomplishment,” Arnold said.
Musicians of the Month receive a $20 gift certificate from Tower Music and a certificate of achievement. Both may be picked up at the store.
