Fox High School was evacuated for about 13 minutes today, April 16, after a fire alarm censor was triggered in a boys restroom, Fox C-6 School District officials said.
The sensor was activated at 11:06 a.m. in the Old Jock Hall boys bathroom, which is located in a hallway near the small gym and locker rooms. Students and staff were allowed to reenter the school at 11:19 a.m., district officials said.
No fire or signs of smoke were detected in the bathroom, according to Fox C-6 officials. Fox High Principal Ryan Sherp said the censor may have been triggered due to a dusty censor, which happens from time to time in older parts of the building
No one was injured, officials reported.
