The site of one of the two satellite locations that will process in-person absentee voting has changed.

County Clerk Ken Waller said because of a scheduling conflict, workers from his office will not be allowed to use the Fox C-6 Service Center in Arnold, but after negotiation with Fox School District officials, the site has been switched to the district’s Rickman Auditorium, 747 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold, just up the street from the Service Center.

Those wishing to cast in-person absentee votes may do so from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday (Oct. 28) through Friday (Oct. 30) at Rickman. The times and days remain the same.

A second site has been set up at the Jefferson County Health Department Office at 5684 Hwy. PP in High Ridge. That location will be open to voters from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, Oct. 26-30.

Any registered voter in Jefferson County may go to either location.

Election judges staffing the satellite locations, as well as those in County Clerk’s Office in Hillsboro, will be able to notarize ballots for voters for free. Voters also may drop off absentee ballots at the satellite locations but must return mail-in ballots by the U.S. Postal Service.

Curbside voting will not be available at the satellite sites, but continues to be offered at the County Clerk’s Office at the Jefferson Administration Center, 729 Maple St., in Hillsboro.

That office is offering extended hours, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays through Oct. 30 and from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24, and Saturday, Oct. 31.
