A work van recently was stolen from outside Mertz Heating and Cooling, 1548 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold.
The 2008 Ford van was stolen during a weekend, between Aug. 7 to Aug. 10, but the owner didn’t realize it was missing until St. Louis police contacted him and said they found the van burned, said Capt. Robert Ruckman of the Arnold Police Department.
Then, the van, which was valued at $12,000, was reported stolen to Arnold Police.
As of Aug. 20, there were no suspects or arrests, Ruckman said.
