Arnold Police are investigating damage to a Jeep parked outside a home in the 2400 block of Starling Airport Road. At about 4:30 a.m. Dec. 1, the rear window on a 2010 Jeep Liberty was shattered, police reported.

The victim, a 41-year-old Arnold woman, told police she believes a man, who previously dated a family member, was responsible for the damage. The victim said she had communicated with the man through text messages on Nov. 25 and had ordered him to remove belongings from her home. The woman said that during the exchange, the man allegedly threatened to cause damage to her vehicle, the report said.

However, the woman was unable to produce the text message to show police, according to the report.

The damage to the vehicle was estimated to cost $500. As of Dec. 10, Arnold Police were still trying to contact the man the woman claims broke the window, Lt. Clinton Wooldridge said.
