Arnold Police are investigating damage to a window and metal security gate and the theft of a security camera and at two businesses in the Arnold Park Mall shopping plaza off Jeffco Boulevard. The thefts occurred Feb. 28, authorities reported.

At about 7:10 a.m. that day, an alarm went off at Aaron’s Rental, 18 Arnold Park Mall, after a glass window was broken. It appeared the window was kicked, in, which caused damage to the security grate behind the glass, Arnold Police reported.

It didn’t look like anyone got inside the business, and nothing was stolen. The damage was estimated at $800, the report said.

At about 2:15 p.m., police were called to Pediatric Dentistry, 22 Arnold Park Mall, where a security camera was stolen at about the same time the damage occurred to Aaron’s Rental. The camera was valued at $350, according to the report.

As of March 7, the camera had not been recovered and there were no suspects, Lt. Clinton Wooldridge said. Anyone with information about the incident should call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
