Joshua W. Wilson, 27, of De Soto has been sentenced to 10 years in prison following felony charges for drugs, endangering the welfare of a child and stealing, court papers show.
On April 6, 2012, Wilson made methamphetamine at a home in the 3900 block of Athena School Road in the De Soto area, acting with Everett Keith Govro of De Soto and Adina Ireland of Fredericktown, the report said.
Wilson also was charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of a child for making meth while three children were at the home, according to the report.
Also, Wilson was found on Oct. 31, 2012, with muriatic acid with the intent to make meth, acting with Dennis J. Potter, 50, of De Soto, court records indicate.
In addition, in December 2011, in Jefferson County, Wilson stole telephone wire worth at least $500 owned by AT&T, acting with Devon Finch of De Soto, according to the report.
Wilson pleaded guilty to the charges and on May 28, was sentenced by Jefferson County Div. 2 Circuit Judge Gary P. Kramer to 10 years for making meth and four seven-year terms – three of them for each of the charges for endangering a child and one for possession of items to make meth – as well as five years for the stealing charge.
However, all the terms are to be served concurrently, or at the same time.
Also, Wilson may be released early if he successfully completes a 24-month treatment program.
Jefferson County assistant prosecuting attorney Trisha C. Stefanski handled the cases.
Wilson currently is in the Ozark Correctional Center in Fordland.
Govro also has been charged in connection with the April 2012 incident and that case is pending.
Ireland got five years’ probation stemming from the incident, court documents show.
Potter has been charged in connection with the October 2012 incident and that case is pending, according to court papers.
