Vickie Sue Worden, 72, who lives in the Jefferson County portion of Fenton, has been accused of violating a protection order that was filed against her by a neighbor who lives across the street from her on Fieldcrest Drive. She also allegedly dented her neighbor’s car in a separate incident, according to court records.
The Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office on June 6 with first-degree stalking, a class E felony punishable by up to four years in prison, and second-degree property damage, a class B misdemeanor that carries a penalty of up to six months in jail and a fine of up to $1,000, court documents said.
Worden was arrested on June 11, and was being held without bond at the Jefferson County Jail in Hillsboro, court records show.
According to a probable-cause statement, Worden on May 26 violated a protection order by yelling at her neighbor, a woman, from across the street. Worden was allegedly seen on video yelling profanities and saying, “You all are devil worshippers.”
A Jefferson County judge in November 2024 issued a protection order that ordered Worden not to come within 75 feet of the woman. Worden received notice of the order in December 2024, court records said.
Another probable-cause statement filed by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said on April 11, Worden broke the protection order when she stepped onto the other woman’s property while yelling racial slurs. Worden allegedly threw her phone at the woman and at the woman’s 2007 BMW X750, causing damage to the side of the car.
The woman told investigators the estimated cost to repair her car was $1,000, the report said.
